So what I'm going to share with you today is a totally free way to end something before it can get out of hand. I know the mobile advertising space will not like this, this blog is not for them. If you have not heard of Google voice, we will try to help you out. This free service is googles way to help the consumer out as well. and it has many features. One such feature is a phone number you can take with you forever, even if you want to change carriers.
But rather than go into all the features, for today i will explain what I'm wanting to help you with.
Advertisers are getting creative with their way of getting your phone number. So when you post your phone number to a social network, you run the risk of having these advertisers hammering you with sms, and it is fixing to explode, and I'm going to give you a work around, so these sms messages don't blow your mobile phone up.
Now when you post your phone number anywhere on the Internet, your at risk. Here is the fix. Get google voice. Take that phone number and use it everywhere you want on the web. Give your friends and family your real mobile number.
Go into settings on the google voice page once you have it. And set the sms feature to not forward. Now when your called from your google voice number, the sms will not be seen by you. On your real phone number, the one assigned to your mobile, your friends and family can still sms you any time.That's it.

Friends I cant tell how important this is to help spread the word on this. I just know this is going to be the best way to stop this before it can get out of hand.
Now unless you want your phone to explode with unwanted sms, Google has made this an easy fix.
Even if you don't want google for this reason, there are about 20 more reasons why you will find you cant live without this free wonderful service that google is giving you at no charge.
