4G disruption within

With these devices, and the 4G space moving so quickly, I am seeing what looks to the consumer to be very good news. And when a technology is in so many ways a disruption  to so many industries, take advertising for example.
Advertising is finding it's way right to the consumer, through mobile phones.
Less is spent on TV, radio, print, billboards and is flowing right to the source.

Entertainment is another, with so much content on the Internet, local radio, and TV, are now finding it a tough sell, for listeners, and advertisers, their is just to much out their to do. I have written a blog in 08 about how this technology would one day cause problems for SAT radio SIRIUS XM, Before phones even had this capability. They cannot say they where not warned of this day.

When a technology becomes disruptive within it's own confines, that's when you know we have arrived.

I have written about 4G not just being about speed. It's about a path to take us to this place where we are free to do what we want, how we want, to communicate through data, and to be weened off of the legacy of 3G voice networks. Through your own apps, whether it's a video call, or voice call, text, or chat, or even a recorded message.

Now with your Internet in your pocket full time, "on the fly" we are coming to this place where we no longer need a fixed service for the home, that's just another expense, and you can thank 4G for that. With devices getting so advanced, and processor speed improvements, and with their hot spot readiness, being fixed to the home Internet is just about over. So the home desk top modems days are numbered. Their will still be a need for them, for some back haul, to business, maby for a wireless surveillance security type of play.

But as we move away from 3G to 4G, we can all expect this disruption scenario is nothing but good for us all. And in time once we have moved to all data networks, the cost to us all will be much less of an expense. You will not hear you must take voice with your data. 4G is only data. Do what you want with it.

The last word on disruption, Sprint and google, are moving forward, making it good for consumers, and leaving the competition in the dust. You just have to understand, Sprint, Google, Clear are making the way for this to evolve, and the competition must now conform, or be left behind.
